Our Goals
Provide mentorship on technical and soft skills girls need to become Future Leaders in STEM.
Encourage and inspire girls and young women to pursue STEM education and careers.
Build a STEM community for girls and promoting collaboration through partnerships.
Our Focus
Our focus is to increase the interest and participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning, particularly among girls in Primary, Junior High and Senior High Schools. Our priority is to evolve the learning in a way that supports the development of STEM skills by our young girls to meet their needs and employer needs in the twenty-first century.
Science
The study of nature through observation, experimentation, making predictions etc.
Technology
Applying scientific knowledge for practical purposes.
Engineering
Using technological innovation to make the world a better place.
Mathematics
Dealing with quantities, magnitudes, attributes, etc., by the use of numbers and symbols.
STEM is an excellent program to allow students to learn more about not only science, technology, engineering, and math but also to apply this knowledge. Students are given the opportunity to use these skills to develop their creative and critical thinking in school and to better prepare them for their future careers.

Meet our Founder
Mesrenyame is an IT professional from Accra in Ghana who loves the power that programming can put in people’s hands – especially those people who have less power of their own to begin with. She wants to help do more of that, and is confident that Mesrenyame and Friends can help achieve it.
She is a staunch member of the Python Software Community in Ghana, a recipient of a Python Software Foundation Community Service Award and a Google Open Source Peer Bonus Award. She has served on the organising teams of both PyCon Ghana and PyCon Africa and believes that women, technology and education need to come together as strongly as possible, and will do whatever she can to help create a future in which they do.
